Terms of Service

AirSwap is operated by Popworld Centre ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the AirSwap app or website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What AirSwap is

AirSwap is a peer-to-peer marketplace where users in Ghana trade mobile airtime and data for Mobile Money, protected by escrow. You may also buy or sell airtime and data instantly against the platform where that option is offered. AirSwap is not a bank and does not provide investment, savings, or interest-bearing products.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must verify your phone number to trade. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and device secure, and for all activity on your account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the numbers and details you add, and for completing any transfer you commit to in a trade.

Trading & escrow

When you buy, your payment is held in escrow and released to the seller only after the airtime or data is confirmed received. When you sell, you must deliver the airtime or data you listed. All fees are shown before you confirm a trade.

Prices on the marketplace are set by sellers within limits we publish. Instant trades against the platform use rates we set and display before you confirm.

Acceptable use

You may not use AirSwap for fraud, money laundering, financing illegal activity, or to trade airtime or funds that are not lawfully yours. Attempting to defraud another user or the platform will result in suspension and may be reported to the authorities and your mobile network.

Suspension & limits

We may apply velocity and value limits, hold or reverse suspicious transactions, request additional verification, and suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or pose a fraud or compliance risk. New payout numbers carry a security hold.

Liability

We provide the service "as is" and work hard to keep it reliable, but we are not liable for losses arising from network outages, delays by mobile operators or payment providers, or from your own errors (for example sending airtime to the wrong number). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
